Erica + Mike | Crockett Farm | Whidbey Island Wedding

While Whidbey Island is a popular weekend getaway destination for many folks in the Pacific NorthWest with it’s lush terrain, emerald waters and gorgeous mountainscapes, it’s also is home to to many military families stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The Navy brought us here three years ago, and I’ve been pinching myself ever since. To me, this place is heaven. And it was also the perfect backdrop for Erica and Mike’s beautiful summer wedding. Mike is a pilot out here, and so these newlyweds planned their wedding at the historic Crockett Farm in Coupeville. It was an absolutely gorgeous blue-bird day, and while everyone enjoyed the peaceful and traditional ceremony, the guests soon got to let loose on the dance floor and party the night away. (And let me tell you, watching Navy guys dance is pretty much one of the most entertaining things ever!) Erica and Mike are adorable together. Always smiling, laughing and loving. I had a blast spending the day with them, and I can’t wait to see where the Navy takes them next on their adventures together. Congratulations!
