Ashley & Dave | The Armour House | Chicago Mansion Wedding

Everything about Ashley & Dave's historic mansion wedding was completely swoon-worthy. From the monogramed robes, immaculate garden landscape, incredible floral arrangements to the sparkler-send off, start it was an incredible day start to finish. The weekend was a total whirlwind. I flew on the first flight out from Seattle to Chicago on Friday morning to get settled into the hotel and get everything set for the big day on Saturday. The couple's ceremony and reception were both at the stunning Armour House in Lake Forest, IL, originally a summer home which is now part of a private academy. Around every corner and down every staircase was another amazing backdrop for photography, and Dave and Ashley couldn't have been more wonderful. The connection between these two was so intense and genuine, and I even found myself tearing up at their giddy and emotional first look. The bridal party and families made photographing this wedding a JOY and I don't think my smile ever left my face...so much happiness in one place. I flew back to Whidbey Island on Sunday morning so excited to go through the photos. It was a short but oh so sweet trip, and I was so honored to be there to capture this special day for this wonderful couple.
