Heather & Laura | Fort Casey | Whidbey Island Photographer
Heather & Laura’s message is one about love, and these two just radiate it for each other. These gorgeous women celebrate acceptance through their instagram channel, and working with them was such a wonderful experience - from learning about how they met, who played it cool, to future plans in store for them! Originally, we had planned to go to Deception Pass for their session - but with a last minute pivot due to a one-lane bridge closure backup, and some inspiration via leather bomber jackets, we ended up at historic Fort Casey for one heck of a unique couples’ shoot! The wind chill turned all of our hands bright red and unable to move, and pretty sure we all had frozen tears on our faces - but the result was something that I am so excited to share. Love is such a gift - and I’m so glad I was able to tell a little part of their story.
Cheers to the team of women who helped make this session happen! Check em’ out on instagram!

Also - This bald eagle was about to swoop in and take us out. Ok, that may be a little dramatic, but it DID come awfully close. Never a dull moment on Whidbey Island!
