Lauren + Daniel | Stoller Family Estate | Oregon Wedding

ALL THE FEELS! I have known this beautiful bride since I was about 3 years old. We started out as neighbors in a sleepy little town in California, where her older sister Kristen became one of my best friends. We were always running around playing dress up, barbies, cat family, or drawing chalk on the sidewalk. (And after sleepovers, their dad would make the best pancakes ever.) Sadly, the wonderful M family moved around when I was in 4th grade - but I have been so blessed to have stayed close with them over the years. (Kristen was a bridesmaid at my wedding, and I was lucky enough to photograph their cousin’s wedding a few years ago in California.)

So when Lauren reached out to ask if I’d photograph her Oregon winery wedding, it was such an honor! Her whole crew is just made up of awesome people, and Lauren was one of the chillest, happiest and fun loving brides. The day took place at Stoller Winery, and was full of sentimental and emotional moments. (I cried no less than 3 times.) It was a gorgeous day with the vineyard as a backdrop, and a beautiful tasting room set the scene for their reception. Daniel and Lauren were just so at ease, smiling, laughing, and fist-bumping their way throughout the big day. The way they looked at each other also made me tear up, so basically I spent the entire day fighting those waterworks.

Watching someone I’ve known through childhood get married was a really special moment for me. Having my kids get to spend time with the M family and their new generation the following morning (Lauren is a new auntie) was also really incredible. The bonds and friendships we make throughout our lifetime is a treasure, and I am so grateful I got to spend the day celebrating Lauren and Daniel. (Ok, that’s the end of my sappy speech!)
