When we moved to Whidbey Island from Oklahoma this past June, we were so thrilled to be settling into a place that had so much natural beauty and outdoor activities...but I'll admit, it was ridiculously hard to say goodbye to all the wonderful friends we made in our 8 years in The Heartland.  So when buried with moving boxes and trying to keep two toddlers from running amuck, it meant a lot when our new neighbors brought over some fresh homemade bread as a welcome to the area!  Fast forward to end of September, and we were able to get out to the beach and shoot some family photos of their adorable trio.  So grateful for good people, new friendships and beautiful locations.  Whidbey, you're starting to feel more and more like home.
