This gorgeous Pacific Northwest wedding is proof that a little (or in this case a whole lotta) rain can’t dampen the joy between two crazy-in-love people on their wedding day! Madison and Robert were married on the cliffs of Rosario, just a few minutes away from Deception Pass Bridge. Surrounded by their closest family and friends who traveled from all over the world to be there, the two of them exchanged rings and vows, while promising to be each other’s best friend and confidant for life.

Marrem & Mark | Rosario Beach Engagement | Whidbey Island

I'm pretty convinced that there's no more beautiful of a place than Whidbey Island in the summer.  The light drips golden warmth, the scenery is spectacular, and the terrain is so diverse.  The Navy recently brought newly engaged couple Marrem & Mark to Oak Harbor, and while they'll be getting married out of state next year, they opted for Rosario Beach for couples' photos before their I-Do's.

I get teary at weddings....it's just what I do. The pure joy, the heightened emotions, the candid moments...So who knew I'd also be turning on the water works at a graduation celebration?! Photographing Columbia College's graduating class of 2017 at NAS Whidbey Island was such a moving experience.  I loved hearing the students' personal stories of what their degree meant to them, watching the ceremony unfold, and documenting the pride and sense of accomplishment on not only their faces, but also on the faces of their loved ones.
